Clearspring's shoyu is of the highest quality. In Japan, it has received the Sendai Award. It is produced using traditional methods, using whole soybeans and toasted whole wheat, and undergoing slow, natural fermentation in cedar barrels. It is delicious as a salt substitute in soups, vegetables, cereals, sauces, and dressings.
