Wasabi is a spicy and stimulating green paste that gives its characteristic spicy taste to sushi dishes and sauces. It is the wasabi root that gives the green color to wasabi and helps digest proteins. In Japan wasabi is traditionally served with raw fish dishes. Preparation of wasabi powder: add 1 part warm water with 2 parts powder and mix to obtain a homogeneous paste. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes to release all the aroma.
