Red yeast rice is obtained by cultivating a microscopic fungus on rice. This fermentation of rice by yeast produces a red color which has been used for centuries in the Orient as a coloring and flavor enhancer.
This yeast contains natural statites which helps maintain normal cholesterol levels.
Coenzyme Q10 is a substance that promotes vitality and energy production in all cells of the body.
It is especially present in the organs that require the most energy from our body, such as the heart, lungs and liver.
Methionine is an essential amino acid that has a high sulfur content and acts as an antioxidant.
It helps eliminate fatty acid deposits that accumulate around the liver and arteries.
Taurine is an amino acid very present in bile.
