Recipe idea: Vegetable rice
Brown 1 chopped onion over low heat in a little olive oil. Add 1 measure of washed long rice, 1 carrot, 1 turnip and 1 stalk of celery cut. Pour in 2 measures of water, salt, bring to the boil. Cook over low heat on a heat diffuser for 50 minutes.
