The quality of a moxa comes mainly from the weight of mugwort leaves used in relation to the weight of the finished product. The usual ratios are: 1:1 3:1 5:1 8:1 10:1 15:1 25:1 35:1 The 1:1 ratio is the lowest quality.
Marco Polo Direct mugwort is of very high quality, with a ratio of 1:25, or 25 kg. of fresh leaves per 1 kg. of finished product.
