Organic mustard oil is well known in Ayurvedic tradition. This "warming" oil is traditionally used as a strengthening hair treatment and offers us a natural solution to fight against hair loss. Rich in fatty acids (erucic acid, alpha-linoleic acid (omega 3), linoleic acid), it also contains allyl isothiocyanate which gives it its pungent odor and its warming effect on the skin. It will therefore also be used for muscular massage oils, to prepare the body for exercise or as a toning body treatment.
Uses
How to use it for the natural beauty of hair?
Very active, this oil is always used diluted in one or more other milder vegetable oils.
- in a strengthening oil to slow hair loss with vegetable oils of castor, coconut, avocado and anti-hair loss essential oils such as those of Bay Saint-Thomas, Ginger
- in an oil to stimulate hair growth, with vegetable oils of castor, coconut, avocado, jojoba and essential oils known to accelerate hair growth such as Ylang-ylang, grapefruit, Saint-Thomas bay
- in a nourishing and conditioning serum for the lengths, with vegetable oils of coconut, broccoli, castor, avocado, borage, jojoba, argan to nourish the hair fiber and beautify the ends. You can also make a serum with vegetable oils and aloe vera.
- in a hair mask with rhassoul or plant powders, adding a teaspoon of mustard oil to the preparation
How to use it for natural body care?
Very powerful, with a heating effect, we will always use it diluted.
- in a sports massage oil to prepare the body for exercise, with vegetable oils of sesame, arnica and essential oils of wintergreen, black pepper, pink pepper
- in a toning oil for the bust, with argan vegetable oil and rose geranium essential oil for example
Precautions for use
- do not ingest, external use only
- always use diluted, between 10 and 45% maximum of the total formula
- not recommended for sensitive or irritated skin as well as children
- do not use on the face
- Like any cosmetic product, keep out of reach of children
- In general, we advise you to always do a test in the crease of the elbow 48 hours before use to check that no reaction appears
