Mint warms and stimulates the large intestine, lungs, spleen, pancreas, stomach, liver, and gallbladder.
Precautions for use:
- Dietary supplement. Does not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose (1 drop twice a day, maximum 80mg).
- Contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women, in children under 12 years of age, in epileptic subjects or with a history of convulsions, in asthmatic subjects, in elderly subjects.
- Strictly contraindicated in children under 30 months, by simple contact or inhalation (risk of laryngeal spasms which could lead to respiratory arrest).
- Not recommended for hypertensive subjects, not recommended in cases of hormone-dependent disorders.
- Orally: caution in the event of inflammation or obstruction of the bile ducts, in the event of hepatic insufficiency, in the event of ulcer-type gastric disorders. Possible drug interactions, no use without the advice of a healthcare professional.
- Cutaneously: powerful cooling effect, always use diluted on the skin, on very limited surfaces.
- Never use in a bath. Do not apply to irritated or damaged skin.
- Avoid atmospheric diffusion, otherwise dilute to 10% maximum in a mixture with other milder essential oils.
- No prolonged use without specialist advice.
- Risk of allergy (limonene): be careful not to overdose in mixtures. The crook of the elbow test will be recommended before any skin application (min. 48 hours before use).
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Keep out of reach of young children.
- Store away from any source of heat and light.
